A few days ago I was running, not my favorite activity, but, well, the gym is closed. Suddenly, and without warning, my knee stopped me with an unexplainable pain. After a minute or two, I tried to start again. Nope, my knee was definitely not going to cooperate and I had to call my husband to come pick my up because now I couldn’t walk without limping. While waiting for my husband, I immediately turned to some prayer circles and asked for prayer. I love that one friend said she was praying for purpose and healing. That rang true in my heart and I have sat in the peace of purpose, His purpose.
Amid my healing knee, I read this morning about murdering hornets spotted in the Pacific Northwest, which is where we happen to call home. These hornets, apparently, are the largest of the species and honey bees are first in their food chain.
As I sat down to spend some time with Jesus, my heart heavy with many burdens, Holy Spirit reminded me to worship Him. It Is Well by Bethel Music came to mind and I sat and listened, really listened and worshipped. Soon I began to feel peace, comfort and joy.
I encourage you to join me. The wind and waves still know His name and so do you.
Oh, and my knee? Miraculously, the next day I had almost complete range of motion! Praise God in the highest for the gift of prayer and worship, which truly change situations but mostly our heart.
Shalom!

Russ! Thanks for stopping by. I love the both songs as well. Have a good week ahead. ๐
Iโve been running too. My wife was just telling me about these hornets!
They are wild looking! Iโm not a fan of flying bugs, insects or otherwise! Glad to hear you are running!
They look very dangerous and mean!
Yes!!
So good to hear that your knee is much more better sis! Good to hear from you, I’ve MIA for quite sometime for various reasons. But now that things have slowed down a lot I have more time to read and I can so relate with you with that heavy heart feeling. I believe all of us are mourning along with creation now as our redemption draws nearer but His Holy Spirit is always there to comfort and strengthen us. Blessings and peace. <3
Tammy, so good to hear from you! Thank you for stopping by. Praise God for His faithfulness. Yes, He is always with us! Hope all is well. <3
Thank you for the beautiful spiritual message!! ๐ I’m so sorry to hear about your knee incident but I’m happy to hear it healed quickly. The hornet situation is quite scary! Be safe out there!
Thank you for stopping by and your encouragement, Samantha! I hope all is well with you and yours. Great job, again, on your graphic designing!
