Nuggets of Promise

Hello Friends! While I’ve been busy creating time to write a Bible study on identity in Christ, I think about all of you and pray you are well and safe. I thank you for your faithful readership.

This morning as I was praying, Holy Spirit impressed upon me to pray that His people would humble themselves, turn and seek His face, and confess and repent and He would heal our land. He dropped into my heart, “I will heal the territories I have given you.” Such an amazing thought! I want all the spheres of influence I travel in to be whole and healthy, thus I will sincerely continue to confess and repent of the sin and unforgiveness in my life and expect God to make good on His promise.

Something even more amazing happened when I moved on to read my Bible. I was led to read in Joshua this morning. As I did, I came across Joshua 1:3.

Every place that the sole of your foot shall tread upon, that have I given unto you, as I said unto Moses.

Joshua 1:3 NKJV

When we humble ourselves before Him, he gives us the desires of our heart because He places His heart over our heart and His desires become our desires. When you seek Him, confess and repent, every place, not just here or there, every place He has given to you, for His glory and His kingdom. There is much work to be done, yes?

As you endeavor for the Lord in His guidance, do not turn from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may prosper wherever you go. (Joshua 1:7c). Don’t allow yourself to be distracted by situations around you, rather stay focused on God and He will cause your work to prosper.

When you stay tethered to Jesus you will make your way prosperous and you will have good success. (Joshua 1:8c).

And always remember…

God is with you wherever you go.

Shalom!
